Kill zombies. The more zombies you kill, the more skilled you get, and the more zombies appear.
Zombicide: Green Horde is a standalone game set in the Zombicide Fantasy world. Players are survivors battling the powerful zombie Orcs in abandoned cities and groves. Hedges and rivers may pose serious threats to anyone wandering recklessly, and your zombie opponents are merciless. Zombicide: Green Horde retains the general Zombicide mechanics, with new weapons, skills, environment features, and even a trebuchet, because there are no things like overkill when zombies are involved! Zombicide: Green Horde is fully compatible with Zombicide: Black Plague.
Here come the heroes! Green Horde’s Survivors come in all shape and sizes, forming a ragtag band against the orc horde. Each of them possess their own set of skills, including all-new ones, allowing player to battle zombies in many new ways.
Each survivor in Green Horde receives a quality plastic dashboard to keep them organized. A built-in sliding arrow tracks experience gains, and plastic pegs mark wounds and indicate new skills. Finally, multiple slots hold all your cards, making the inventory system intuitive and structured.
Each Equipment card must be set in the dedicated dashboard slot to be used. Weapons are equipped in hands, the armor is worn on the body, and the rest is set in the backpack for further use. Thanks to their skills, survivors may prove more efficient with a specific weapon category (melee, ranged, or magic), but in the end, anyone can use any weapon. In addition to their superior strength, orc zombies use the Horde mechanic: as they spawn across the place, they gradually store a various amount of warriors in a dedicated reserve, and pour them all on the board as soon as a Horde card is revealed. It’s an invasion!
